This setup is especially common in high-net-worth or celebrity households, where continuous care is needed due to demanding work schedules, frequent travel, or privacy concerns. Key Characteristics of a ROTA Nanny Role: • Shift Schedule: Common rotations are 1 week on/1 week off, 2 weeks on/2 weeks off, or other variations (e.g., 10 days on/10 days off). •Live-In During Rotation: Nannies usually live in with the family during their working period and leave during their time off. • High Level of Responsibility: ROTA nannies often handle round-the-clock care, including overnights, travel, and full parental proxy at times. •Team Collaboration: They typically work closely with another ROTA nanny to ensure consistency in care, routines, and communication.
